Wanted: Research articles

Article Outline

The call for accountability has never been higher in case management, and we want to help you find evidence-based strategies to meet the demands of the profession. With that goal in mind, The Case Manager seeks to publish one peer-reviewed research article in every issue.

Successful articles must:

Be original research, not literature reviews or case studies

Have a minimum of 1500 words, excluding references

Have an abstract and a section outlining the methodology

Not promote a product, company, or organization

Preference will be given to articles that demonstrate the value of case management. Articles will undergo a blinded peer-review process that will take approximately 3 months. Authors of articles that meet the approval of both the peer-review committee and the editor will be asked to write a brief article that explains the research's significance to the case management community. A committee member will work with the author on the second article. All articles will be edited in accordance with TCM's style. At the end of the year, an independent committee will judge the articles that have been published that year and award $500 to the article with the strongest contribution to case management.

Submissions should be sent to: The Case Manager Mosby 10801 Executive Center Dr. Suite 509 Little Rock, AR 72211
